Julie Chen Moonves will host the reality series that is a huge hit in summer, Big Brother. The show returns to CBS on 5 August for its 2nd season. Chen Moonves has been a part of The Talk since 2010, when she was both moderator and host. It was only when she began writing that her real passion began to emerge. Hosting an outstanding entertainment talk show earned her an additional Emmy. The Talk is a show which analyzes current affairs by having five host. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS News' weekday morning program The Early Show in 2002 and 2010 before becoming the host of the talk show. Her prior roles included anchoring the CBS Morning News and The Early Show. The anchor was escorted to Cairo after 9/11 and conducted an intimate and fascinating conversation with the father of 9/11's primary terrorist who took over the world. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. In addition, she met with ex- New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Queen Rania. Chen Moonves has also worked for the network's New York City station WCBS, as a reporter, anchor and anchor (1997-1999). Prior to becoming a part of CBS News in 1995, Chen Moonves had been an anchor and reporter for WDTN TV Dayton. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter at ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliated news service (1992-1995) as well as a desk assistant for the ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991), all while she was finishing her final year in college at the University of Southern California.
