Helene Fischer is the daughter of Peter Fischer (then the Soviet Union) and Maria Fischer. She was born on the Siberian coast of Krasnoyarsk in Russia. Her mother worked as engineer while her father was an instructor of physical education. Her maternal grandparents were Volga Germans who had been exiled to Siberia during 1941, by Joseph Stalin. When she was 4, she moved to West Germany in 1988 with her parents and six year old sister. Helene went to Frankfurt Stage & Musical School where she studied dance, acting and singing for three years.
