Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has left a lasting impression on the small screen. De La Garza's parents were from Ireland and Mexico. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. In no time she left Ohio to move to Texas and pursued her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on various acting roles in independent local film as well as international commercials. Even though she had small roles, she rapidly realized the passion she had for performing. Following her move to New York, in 2001 she landed her first part as a performer in the show All My Children. In the beginning of 2000, she had small parts in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first major series role on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most well-known character was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. Her character was later seen on the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress-TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. The year 2008 was the time she won an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding performance on a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She was Marisol Deko, the wife to David Caruso's Horatio. On NBC's dark and dramatic show Do No Harm she played the role of Do No Harm, she played Dr. Lena Solis. After only two episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is the younger sibling of Cory as well as being Italian from a family of Italian heritage. She was raised by a religious and conservative family. Milano began her acting career when she was seven when her babysitter joined her at an audition. Four girls selected among over a thousand applicants included Milano. Milano was featured in TV commercials and off-Broadway shows including the very first American musical version of Jane Eyre.
